The easiest way to get there from Izmir airport is by the Havas airport shuttle bus (every 20 minutes, 35 to 60 minutes) from the Turkish Airlines office.
Trains operated by the Turkish State Railways stop at the Airport Station. There are several trains daily 14 trains daily in both directions. Northbound trains all go to Basmane Terminal in the city center, while southbound trains serve Odemis, Tire, Soke, Nazilli and points in between.
Selcuk and Ephesus are 60 km (37 mi) south of ADB, reachable by rental car (less than an hour's drive), or cheap, slow train (six times daily).
Pamukkale is 252 km (157 mi) from ADB, a drive of about 4 hours (4-1/2 to 5 hours by bus).
Taxi:
Taxis are available at the airport. Bargain to get the best fare, if you don't haggle over the price you will be ripped off. Fares go up after midnight to 6am. Check Rates here
Bus:
The Havas Bus leaves from the Turkish Airline office at the airport every 20, 35 or 60 minutes to the centre of Izmir. It is the easiest way to reach town.

Rail:
The train station is next to the International Terminal connected by a covered walkway. A train leaves every hour for Alsancak Gari but it leaves you to the north of the city. Trains from the Airport to Basmane train station in the city run mostly in the afternoons. The trains are ramshackle but very cheap.
Road:
There are taxis and the Havas Airport Bus commuting to Izmir city centre. The best way is by the airport bus. There are lots of buses passing by on the Highway but it's a few kilometers walk to get to a bus stop and the taxis wont stop there.
